  • 36-year-old Genesse Moreno opened fire at Lakewood Church Sunday with an AR-15 that read "Free Palestine," her 7-year-old child by her side
  • Police fretted over whether to consider Genesse a man or woman
  • Other mass shooters who claimed to believe they were the other gender have also "confused" police

After a thorough investigation Houston police have concluded that the gender-confused shooter who opened fire at a Texas church Sunday is a woman with “she/her” pronouns.

“She has utilized both male and female names. But through all our investigations to this point — talking with individuals, interviews, documents — Houston Police Department reports she . . . identified this entire time as female, she/her,” said Officer Chris Hassig, who heads the Houston PD Homicide Division. “And so we are identifying her as Genesse Moreno, Hispanic female.”

Moreno entered Lakewood Church on Sunday with her seven-year-old by her side and an AR-15 that read “Free Palestine.” She opened fire and injured one man before police returned fire and killed her. Her son received a bullet to the head and is in critical condition.

The 36-year-old woman previously claimed to believe she was male and is the latest among a string of mass shooters who consider themselves “transgender” or “transgender allies.”

Last month, 17-year-old Dylan Butler shot up his fellow students at Perry High School in Des Moines. He killed a sixth-grader and wounded five other children before killing himself. Butler’s social media accounts show he was a staunch supporter of gender ideology. He incorporated the use of rainbow emojis in his content and shared a post which read “Love your trans kids.” He was also reported to have frequently posted on Reddit forums for gender-disoriented users under the username “Dylanpickle1996.”

Last year, Denver police arrested 19-year-old William Whitworth for planning murderous rampages at several schools and churches. Whitworth went by “Lilly” and insisted he was a woman.

In March 2023 three adults and three children were killed at a Nashville school by Audrey Hale, a woman posing as a man. Documents also revealed that Hale was driven by anti-White hate.

In November 2022, the perpetrator responsible for the deadly shooting at a Colorado Springs nightclub that claimed five lives was Andersen Lee Aldrich, who demanded to be addressed as “Mx. Aldrich” and used the pronouns “they/them.”

In July last year Philadelphia police arrested 40-year-old Kimbrady Carriker for a mass shooting that claimed the lives of four adults and one teenager. A two-year-old sustained four gunshot wounds to his leg, among two other injured toddlers. Carriker, a crossdresser who used “they/them” pronouns and supported the Black Lives Matter riots, was branded by mainstream media as a Trump supporter.

Also in Carriker’s case, it took police 24 hours to determine his gender.
