Award-winning television writer Tom Johnson died suddenly last month at 55.
His wife, actress Rozie Bacchi, told The Hollywood Reporter that Johnson died “peacefully and unexpectedly” from a cardiac issue in their home in Los Angeles.
Johnson received two Emmy Awards for his writing on The Daily Show. He also wrote comedy for other shows such as Lopez Tonight, the Grammys, the MTV Music Video Awards, and others.
While no cause has been given for Johnson’s death, social media netizens are pointing out that the COVID-19 mRNA injection, for which Johnson was an ardent advocate, may have played a role. During the pandemic, for example, Johnson framed his Facebook profile photo with a badge that read “I’m vaccinated. Why aren’t you, you stupid f*cking f*ck.”
A peer-reviewed study published last month analyzing data in the vaccine adverse events reports system (VAERS) found that COVID-19 mRNA injections are associated with a 2,500% increase in myocarditis, which is inflammation of the heart muscle. This adverse event, from which approximately 3% of those reported have died, has been found to affect primarily males (69%) and youth (50%). The worse cases occurred after the second shot.
“COVID-19 vaccination is strongly associated with a serious adverse safety signal of myocarditis, particularly in children and young adults resulting in hospitalization and death,” concluded the researchers. “Further investigation into the underlying mechanisms of COVID-19 vaccine-induced myocarditis is imperative to create effective mitigation strategies and ensure the safety of COVID-19 vaccination programs across populations.”
A 2022 study from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) found a 25% increase in cardiac events in young men entirely correlated to the COVID shots. The State of Florida, in a statement recommending against vaccinating males aged 18 to 39, cited their own investigation that showed an 84% increase in the relative incidence of cardiac-related death among males 18–39 years old within 28 days of an mRNA injection.
In another study of Pfizer’s and Moderna’s randomized controlled trials, those in the treatment group were found to have four times as many cardiac arrests as those in the control group.
